When you create an account, we may collect:
Account Data: Name, email address, and profile picture (via Google Sign-In or manual registration).
Authentication: We use Firebase Authentication to securely manage your login credentials.
B. Financial Data
The core of our App involves tracking your finances.
Transactions & Budgets: We collect data regarding your expenses, income, categories, and budget limits.
Local Storage: This data is primarily stored on your device using a local database (Isar).
Cloud Storage: If you use our sync features, this data is encrypted and stored in Google Cloud (Firebase Firestore) or your personal Google Drive.
C. Automatically Collected Data
Device Information: We may collect basic information about your device (model, OS version) for troubleshooting and performance optimization.
OCR & Images: If you use the receipt scanning feature, the App processes images via Google ML Kit. Images are processed locally or on secure Google servers to extract text.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information to:
Provide and maintain the financial tracking services.
Sync your data across multiple devices.
Generate financial insights, charts, and reports (PDF/CSV).
Send notifications for budget alerts and bill reminders (if enabled).
Process in-app purchases and subscriptions via Google Play Billing.
3. Third-Party Services
To provide a premium experience, we integrate with:
Google Firebase: For authentication and database hosting (Firestore).
Google Play Services: For in-app purchases and app performance monitoring.
Google Drive API: For optional user-initiated backups.
Google ML Kit: For text recognition from receipts.
AdMob: To display advertisements in the free version of the App.

4. Advertising and Google AdMob.
ScanCam uses Google AdMob to display ads to free users
AdMob may process device advertising ID, device information, approximate location derived from IP, and ad interaction signals.
Purpose: Advertising or marketing, including ad delivery, fraud prevention, and performance measurement.
You can manage ad personalization in your device settings and through the consent options shown in the app (where available).

Export Data: You can export your entire transaction history in PDF or CSV format at any time.
Delete Account: You may delete your account and all associated cloud data via the Settings menu in the App.
Offline Mode: You can use the App entirely offline to keep all financial data strictly on your device.

The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
